Nature of Atman / Self continued…

Sloka 217 :

Many things manifest in the mind inwardly as unknown impressions of the Ego, at the same time the same Ego witness everything by being seated inside the heart known as Atman (Existence Knowledge Bliss Absolute – Sat/Chith/Ananda). One must withdraw from all perceptions, emotions and thoughts so that the remaining will be Eternal; this is what Atman.

Sloka 218:

Seeing the reflection of the Sun in the water in a jar is considered to be Sun itself. Likewise, a fool through delusion identifies himself with the reflection of the Chith (Chitha-basa) caught in the intellect and considered to be the “I” his own identity. Consciousness playing upon the thoughts is called Chithabasa, why because Consciousness functioning through our body, mind and intellects and the I remain un-afflicted.
