Thulasi Devi cursed Mahavishnu who came in the form of Sankachoodan. Due to curse Mahavishnu became Salagrama Lingam. According to modern science the mountain piece is approximately 96 KM adjacent to River Ghandaki. Vishnu informed Thulasi about her past janma and the karma of current janma, also told her that her body will be decayed and become Ghandaki River and all her hairs will become Thulasi plant/leafts. Total 19 types of Salagramam were explained by God. Thulasi Devi joins God’s soul and took the form of celestial body and reached Golokam.
