Today, we began 10th Chapter of Sri Devi Bagavatham. The topic was Swayambu Manu who was none other than Brahman’s own son. Also Satharoopa was born out of Brahma’s wish. Brahma instructed Swayambu to marry Satharoopa and create more progency. Swayambu went for Thapas and got the vision Parasakthi, also received boons from Her. Later Sootha Maharshi narrated the story of Vindya Range of Mountains and hindered and created obsticles to Soorya. thereafter as per Ashtadik Paalakas request Agasthya Rishi met Vindhyan and asked to bow down until he return from South India. Sumeru was discussed in length.
